PTSD-like suffering could be caused by cortisol, that damages hippocampus. This weakens ability of handling emotions and intellect coherently. So stop. No drugs can heal brain damage. Cortisol is a stress hormon, (unlike adrenalin and nor-adrenalin), that is not healthy, and does only damage. It does not mean less pituitary conversion happens – inflicts serotonin in hypothalamus that connects pain senses and muscle control, prefontal cortex, blood curcuit, pituitary release and maybe more?

I’m trying to get the word out about a petition I just started to tell the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to allow recruitment efforts from the multidisciplinary association of psychedelic studies for a clinical study of medical marijuana for treatment of PTSD. Currently, the Phoenix VA health care system isn’t allowing them to recruit patients. This is devastating to the studies efforts to recruit participants and may lead to the study’s discontinuation. If you believe that science and treating veterans is more important than stigmatizing a drug please take a look at this petition to the VA secretary to allow MAPS to recruit patients. Perhaps you could share the petition! https://www.change.org/p/david-j-shulkin-allow-medical-marijuana-study-for-veterans-with-ptsd-to-recruit-patients-at-the-phoenix-va
So, this will be a really good test of a new concept I have cultivated called "crowd-authoring." Cognition and intelligence are ‘socially distributed’; instead of dwelling inside the single mind of an individual or a few marijuana advocates they are spread throughout the different minds of all people of earth. Book authorship by sole individuals and partners for profit is out-dated. If the goal of a good book is complete knowledge, we must develop mechanisms that systematically bring together these fragmented pieces of cognition and intelligence from all over the globe.
Drum roll please……..
I started a book called The Cannabis Bible which I am open sourcing in a collaborative effort to bring all cannabis knowledge under one master book title, written by the people of earth. Please contribute!
I am a OIF vet with PTSD. I would give anything to trade these pills with the side effects that are hurting my love life with my wife to be able to just smoke when needed. It really helps to get out of your own head relax and fall asleep and stay asleep. If I smoke I run the risk of losing benefits. This has to change. Pls give vets the option to choose this over the harmful pills. Semper Fi
Of course there is a high. You just won't notice it as much as the peak level in your bloodstream will be much further from when you consumed it than if smoked or vaporized.
This same marijuana can be used as a preventive so that people don't get ill instead of waiting for people to get sick and then treat them with poisons. You can ingest capsuals of raw marijuana or juice marijuana leaves when they are fresh. There is no high with these two and it will do wonders for conditions.

It is true, if cannabis products not heated much, kept under 100 F, there is no high whatsoever.
