A large number of medical marijuana products are still under an emergency hold at dispensaries across Mississippi.Greg Flynn, director of external affairs and media relations with the Mississippi State Department of Health, released a statement Wednesday saying the retesting is related to pesticide use and the presence of fungus related toxins called mycotoxins in the products. MSDH is overseeing retesting efforts now. Those tests are being prioritized based on product. Flowers and are buds taking top priority, followed by concentrates and infused products.Products will be put back on the market as they clear tests. The emergency hold has been in place since Thursday.Patients are advised to stay in contact with their dispensary to learn when the hold on certain products has been lifted.
