So, when you got off the ferry in S Perth, a short walk would have taken you to the Zoo which has Red and Grey kangaroos, as well as Wallabies. Another good place to find kangaroos is Pinaroo Cemetery.
First time virtually in Perth. It has been decades since I have been in Australia. Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Canberra. Look forward to seeing all again! Thanks for taking us along. I fit in your backpack.
Most of the animals are more active at dawn and dusk. During the day theyre mostly sleeping/catching shade… and you missed the museum, couple of minutes walk from the art gallery, free too
Kangaroos are not active during the day. They get more active in the late afternoon and in the early morning. They come to my yard. They are an effing nuisance. Eat rosebuds and the leaves off the strawberry plants.
Excellent video! Kings Park is extremely popular for picnics, outdoor concerts and various festivals including an upcoming light festival at night. The twilight view of the city from King's Park is stunning.
I'd suggest visiting Rottnest Island. The Rottnest Express boat isn't exactly cheap, especially from Elizabeth Quay. But we've just come off our hottest summer on record. I think you'd enjoy a swim in Little Salmon Bay, explore the island, Quokka selfies etc. It's the tourist thing to do.
Great video. You've covered quite a fair bit of interesting places in Perth. I also recommend the aviation museum. You'll love it. And, don't forget Fremantle.
Great video about Perth- very happy you enjoyed my city of residence π – it's a visually beautiful city
I am so glad you two found Perth so interesting, especially the random trips π

It's really nice to see a young couple in love and having so much fun together.
Those kangaroos will see you, long before you see them. Weather you get to see them is entirely up to them.
Welcome to Perth. Enjoy your stayπβ€οΈπ¦πΊ
