Great episode. So much knowledge. It's truly a pleasure just listening and learning. You're definitely correct about always more to learn. Thanks Chris and Stephen for sharing. Growers Love. Peace! Kenabyss DGC π¨π¦
Thanks for the bug and rice recipe, cannabis is a different crop altogether, you cant wash it and its smoked. It needs to be grown as organic as possible. I think people will have less trouble if they respect the plant a little more.
Another banger Chris. Much appreciated. 1:00:45 Steve talking about age affecting mother plants, the same as it affects humans, was a beautifully simplistic analogy.
Getting good genetics, absolutely π Environment, quality feed and water My plants are healthy. I lean on organic , living soil. Great results, minimal input. LST, some topping, and LST only, maybe scrog
Black lights at night to spot pests is so dang smart. Even just waiting for a full moon probably helps. Probably an ancient technique right there. Coming from experience in indoor commercial facilities itβs fascinating to hear techniques for farming outdoors. So many things youβd probably never think of indoors that could still be applicable.
I'm on my 2nd grow. 1st was just one plant Jack Hera, sativa dominant but compact broad leaf anyway. I grew it small and harvested early. This my 2nd grow I built living soil in a raised bed, then started GG #4 indoors for about 10 weeks then put it in the outdoor bed and let it get about 5foot with an outdoor light then switched it off. It's about 7ft now in early flower and omg I'm amazed. I had no idea I could grow this much product. East coast Australia just south of Sydney for reference
I use bassilus aquaferus microbes. I grow rockwool dwc. Without a good microbiome its shit. But lol with it ,, top shelf diverse terp profiles, high potency. Beautiful frost. Smooth tastey smoke.
Black light works great finding bugs Iβm ac technician I use black light and dye to find Freon leaks all the bugs caught in ac condenser glow with the black light never thought about checking my plants

In Oz we have problems with white ants they ring bark your plants at the base if you use compost and manner they will get eaten π’
