I do you have a video about how edibles would work? I’ve actually been using marijuana for my Crohns and digestive issues for a while.
Basically, I was a smoker before I developed Crohn’s. I have a lot of other health issues and it also seems to help with as well.
But basically what I’m asking is I was thinking about switching to edibles. I don’t have a lot of time anymore to use my vape or to smoke and kind of have not really been able to since I got pregnant and had my daughter who is now almost two.
I didn’t develop a lot of these issues until after she was born, and I’m actually in the process of getting my medical card because I feel very guilty for some reason without it.
My mom wants me to try using edibles because they cannot find anything that helps my symptoms especially in the morning.
Usually what happens is I am in the bathroom almost the entire morning until my fiancé gets home and I can smoke.
I know that part of it is a mental block, but for some reason I don’t feel guilty about having an edible, because my daughter would not even see me take it, and I would not be in the bathroom all day if it actually worked.
That’s the issue though it seems like sometimes my body either. I just things the wrong way, or takes a long time to digest them or they just don’t work at all.
I say this, because I have a lot of vitamin deficiencies, and I also have issues with my other medication’s working because of this.
The last time I tried an edible was a very long time ago, but it was before. I also got really sick. So I don’t know if they would even work. I’m just wondering if they would be a better alternative or if they would not work because of IBD ?
And do they have like drops you can put on your tongue as well? Another thing I feel really guilty about with smoking is the smell. That’s the biggest reason why I don’t do it until I’m basically done doing anything for the day.
But I felt that girl’s story when she said she couldn’t go anywhere anymore. I actually feel guilty because whenever I go out with my daughter, it usually ends up with me, ruining it by being in the bathroom, or being really stressed because I have to go or even having accidents, which is incredibly embarrassing.
Unfortunately, even smoking only helps for a few hours for me. I have a lot of other health issues, so I’m not sure if that could be a factor either.
It’s also interesting that there are other patients that medication seems to not help. And I also could not stand taking prednisone either. I get scared every time I have a flareup to even tell my Rheumatologist because they always put me on prednisone and it’s the absolute worst .
When I used to smoke I could work 70 hrs a week and not have to take any prescriptions. Now that I’m in a state that is ass backwards I can’t legally smoke so I’m on tons of meds and unable to work. Thanks Christians.
I have chrons and ulcertive collitas. Didn't smoke weed for years until i had a bad flare up. I lost 20 lbs in 3 days. Then I smoked a joint and it was the best I felt in those 3 days. Although drinking doesnt help I quit drinking and I still feel uncomfortable in the mornings when i first get up. I smoke a little bit and the pain is gone and I have a appetite. Still learning wat and wat not to eat. Bcuz with these diseases ur diet is important.

THC and other natural methods are better and more promising…..and phenomenally SAFER.
You speak of symptom reduction with smoking Marijuana. But it just that isn’t it? Are patients told this or are patients thinking because of reduction of symptoms their Crohn’s is healing?
Best work for me was stopping dairy products completely eat less meat like 2vs month and drink plenty of water and yeh with flair up eat banana don’t eat anything crunchy or crispy hop that’s help
I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis initially, later on after a year it changed to chrons disease. I'm not sure how to cure a permanently bcz as doctor says there is no complete cure through medicine. Plz help me
Approximately how much marijuana and how often a day? What is the best way to ingest and proper dosage? Convection vaporizers, tinctures, or oil vape cartridges?
The story she read was exactly how I have been treating my Chrons disease since the age of 12. I am now 20 years old and after doing some research I decided to try medical marijuana to treat my symptoms. I can say for a fact that it has worked in so many ways. I now have an appetite to actually eat a meal, i’m not always groggy because I I usually take my form of medication before bed and it allows me to sleep soundly and wake up with no pain! I normally have 6-10 cramps a day but for me if I vape marijuana it reduces that number to maybe 1! No medication has ever done that, im just upset that im finding about this now rather than years ago.
If I wasn’t such a fast runner i would have crap my pants at least 5 times. Weed seems to flush colon and calm my stomach. I do not eat lunch anymore. Just breakfast and dinner. That helps being more like regular.
Hello Dr.! Thanks for your video! I am from São Paulo (BR) would you be able to suggest a starting dosage for chron’s disease treatment with cannabis oil? Do you recommend to take it orally or encapsulated! Thanks in advance for your kind attention! All the best!

It got from bad to worst where i developed fistuls most of the time my energy levels are low, have bloating, constant bathroom visits also doesn't look like my age, don't have a social lifr with friends which make me feels depress at times. Does this help in treating chronic diarrhea! One diagnosis was a mild form of UC. I eat nothing but chicken and starch and nothing with acid. I take med's for UC and diarrhea medicine. Nothing really works. What do you suggest and in what form?

A little question… Is it better to smoke it or eat it…??? I have read some report aka articles that suggest that eating it is better as smoking it kills about 50% of it's beneficial affects…
What is the best type of marijuana to use for Crohns? There are different types with various levels of THC, CBD, etc. and it's all a bit confusing. Ideally I wouldn't want to smoke anything or get high. Are there any products you would recommend (oils, tinctures, edibles, etc.)? I understand that there is not a lot of research so these questions might be a bit hard to answer, but it would be great if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks. 🙂
FIANLLY THE TIDE IS CHANGING! its taken me 10 years suffering from crohn's disease to find cannabis but it gets rid of my pain, increases my appetite and helps with this life long chronic illness

I am in the USA and I'm in a legal state for marijuana. 🙂
I have celiac disease and I'm dealing with similar symptoms of stomach cramping, trouble sleeping if I have a flair up at night. I live in ohio an crohns is on the list but not celiac, would it not help me? thank you for your time

Would you recommend CBD oil as well?
What would be the healthiest way of getting the benefits of this plant? Would ingesting or vaporizing be better then smoking the leaf material
Thanks…

If not marijuana cigarettes, then what do you recommend precisely? Vapourizers? Thanks doctor.
What about CBD without THC? Not helpful or good?????

Hi Dr. Patel,
My daughter suffers from fistulizing Crohn’s disease. Have you heard of medical marijuana helping relieve this type of Crohns?
CBD oil won't do it? You need THC? Where I live CBD is legal but not THC.. :/
